Disability, Non-Fiction

Goodreads Monday

How has everyone’s week been? I just found out I’m moving at the beginning of July. I’m so excited. I get my keys week after next and will hopefully get a chance to see my apartment soon. Goodreads Monday is offered by Emily @ Budget Tales Book Blog

This week I’m looking forward to a book I’m already in the middle of, Disability Visibility. This is my second book from Alice Wong and their co-authors. I found Disabled Intimacy very engaging so I decided to pick this one up and I’m glad I did. I’m loving a lot of the stories and find that it makes some striking commentary.

Wong is fast becoming a favorite, I already appreciated her contributions to the disability rights movement via Twitter but I’m really loving the way she sets up these anthologies. I hope to see more from her in the future.

What are you looking forward to this week? Do you have any good news? Please share in the comments.

      1. Dan Brown – the Robert Langdon series

Glenn Cooper – I need to read more of his books (I’ve read one series but am happy to gradually make my way through the rest)

Richard Osman – I need to read the 4th book and will get the next series.
