Hello, I hope everyone’s December is going well. I’m trying to do a bit of Blogmas. While I don’t think I’ll post every day. Just life being busy. I’m trying to post as much as I can this month. I wanted to do something easy so I thought I’d pick up a tag. The original tag was made by the Booktuber: GirlReading.

1. A fictional family you would like to spend Christmas dinner with?
Hmm, I’d like to spend time Jo and Lily’s families from All the Painted Stars. I’d also like to hang out around the coffee shop from Crumbs and try out some of their recipes.
2. A bookish item you would like to get as a gift?
Hmm? I always like bookish blankets, because I’m always a bit cold. And I’d also like more book jackets because I’m generally messy and like to protect my special editions.
3. A fictional character you think would make a perfect Christmas elf?
Honestly I think Death from Belladona would make an interesting Christmas Elf. He’s always giving her presents and stuff.
4. Match a book to it’s perfect Christmas song.
I enjoyed Mistletoe and Mine and I think The Most Wonderful Time of the Year would fit it.
5. Bah Humbug. A book or fictional character you’ve been disappointed in and should be put on the naughty list?
This is difficult because most books I actually read and don’t DNF. I wouldn’t put them on the naughty list they just weren’t my speed. Though there was a non-fiction book called Why Psychosis is Not So Crazy. I liked the concept. I didn’t enjoy the way it was dealt with focusing specifically on the medial model of disability.
Also randomly Iron Widow. I know its popular and that it has good points, I just wasn’t a fan.
6. A book or a fictional character you think deserves more love and appreciation and deserve to be put on the nice list?
Honestly I know it gets plenty of attention but anything by Molly Knox Ostertag. They are a genius and I haven’t encountered anything they’ve worked on that was less than stellar.
7. Red, Gold and Green. A book cover that has a wonderfully Christmasy feel to it.
The Demon’s Bargain by Katee Robert has a lot of red, gold and green. Also another one that feels Christmasy is Godkiller by Hannah Kaner. And the Christmas book I found most Christmasy looking so far is Christmas Tree Farm by Laurie Gilmore.
8. A book or series you love so much, you want everyone to find under their Christmas tree this year so they can read it and love it too?
Oooh, I’m going to have to go with either Godkiller or All the Painted Stars. Both were five star reads and I think everyone would enjoy them.
Hope everyone’s holidays are going well so far? Do you have the tree up yet? Or are you still decorating?
