Top Fall Books to Enjoy with Your Favorite Drinks

Hope everyone is having a good November so far. I wanted to get in this post before we all shift over to thinking about Christmas. I enjoy a good fall drink probably the most of all, even more so than a peppermint drink. So I wanted to feature some books that remind me of them.

I’m making these recommendations based on vibes mostly and color. Feel free to steal this tag and do it yourself just credit and link back.

1) Pumpkin Spice Latte

A warm earthy mix of pumpkin and milk and cinnamon.

Synopsis

This bewitching tale of love, and supernatural shenanigans stars. Jordyn an apothecary witch, the last thing on her mind is romance. Unfortunately she gets wasted an conjures the ghost of her ex-girlfriend . Now her ex-girlfriend won’t move on until she is sure that Jordyn has found love with someone new.

In comes Harlow, the new girl in town. She’s just looking for something simple, a job at her sister’s cafe. But she soon discovers there is more to her new town than she expected. Maple Hollow actually has some real spookiness behind the gimmicky set up.

Harlow ends up fumbling her job and having a few run ins with vampires. All these problems make her want leave the town as fast as she can. But things change for her when she finds herself falling under Jordyn’s spell.

Will these two be able to brew up a love story? Or will Jordyn’s ex end up being a buzzkill to their budding romance. Enjoy this book with your favorite pumpkin beverage and prepare for a sweet sapphic romance.

With all this happening it seems as though the family curse that will separate the sisters is in full effect. However the women take a chance and try to bargain with Fate to stay together. But focusing on each other will they lose sight of themselves and their own hopes and dreams.

About the Author

Stacy Sivinski was raised in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia and now is a writing and literature professor in the Midwest. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Notre Dame with a specialty in sensory studies and nineteenth-century women’s writing. In her fiction, Stacy focuses on themes of sisterhood, self-discovery, and magic. The Crescent Moon Tearoom is her debut novel.

3) Apple Cider

A tart taste that leaves an echo of warmth on your tongue.

Synopsis

This romance is focused on fifth generation cider maker Sanna Lund. Sanna only wants one thing, to live a quiet life in her family’s apple orchard in Door County, Wisconsin. But her business is struggling, despite that Sanna remains extremely devoted to the orchard. She doesn’t agree with her brothers attempts to get her aging father to sell the land.

Enter single dad Isaac Banks, who has spent years trying to shield his son from his troubled mother. Isaac and his son pack up their lives and head on a trip cross country. Either by chance or fate their trip leads them right to Sanna’s orchard.

Isaac’s help with the orchard becomes much appreciated especially when Sanna’s father is injured in an accident? Sanna’s formerly simple life is becoming increasingly complicated as she finds friendship with Isaac’s young son. She also has the beginnings of a delicious romance with Isaac, until a threat infiltrates their farm.

This book is warm and funny, and a great read for fall.
