Hope the first few weeks of September have been going well for everyone. I’ve gotten quite a lot read. Unfortunately I haven’t done as much as I would like for Orilium, I was always better in the clutch with readathons but I don’t want to cut it too thin.
The first read of the month was Ace.

My review of this book will be up this week, overall I really enjoyed it and am seeking to read more books like it. My second book of the month was an Orilium pick, it had to have jewelry on the cover. I chose Golden Girl. The book was an interesting middle grade in verse. Not my usual style but I really enjoyed it and finished it quickly.

Since then I’ve been reading mostly romance and graphic novels. I finished up The Sea Witch by Katee Roberts, I’m hoping to read her whole catalog at some point. The graphic novels I have finished as of this Sunday are, The Makers Club, a STEM based Middle Grade text featuring Middle Eastern and Asian characters. The Baker and the Bard, which has been on my TBR for awhile and I found to be super cute, there will be a review soon. We Are Big Time by Hena Kahn was another favorite, but then again I like anything she does. Finally Knots was a cute autobiographical study of the importance of family.
I’m still working on many things, such as Belladonna, Evocation and several more graphic novels. I’ll fill you in next week as to what I thought of them.
